Have beat and rhythm been watered down in contemporary European music ? This doesn’t seem to be the case when you listen to the works of composers served up by the eight musicians of TM+.
In this programme, the reflection of a brilliant young generation that is mad about technology, rhythm, loops, repetition, images and electronics come together to create a vast soundscape, instrumental imagination and new shapes. These fun, sensitive, virtuoso works explore soft, lively or relentless rhythms and beats that they caress, aggress or disrupt with boldness, jubilation and a big dose of talent.
Founded twenty years ago at the impetus of passionate musicians, TM+ has become a major force in contemporary music in France. Today, the group’s influence has spread beyond the borders of its homeland.

Friday, november 17th - 12h30 - CNR : Conference by Laurent Cuniot : “The rhythm and energy in works of today”
