After several months of travels through the Baltic Countries and Central Europe, Grenoble’s Ici-Même Collective, a multidisciplinary performance art group, will put on three shows for the Festival.
Born of the ideas of movement, of a state of exploration, of the status of a foreigner passing through, these performance encourage us to lend a new ear to the urban spaces we travel through every day.
We see the city as we hear it, and hear the city as we see it. We prick up our ears and listen to it sing. Each piece of the city thus becomes a source of inspiration. The way we listen and the concert linger between documentary and fiction. The crossroads between private and public spaces becomes a maze.
Ici-Même invites the public to be a part of its travels, putting on shows at several different locations in the city that can be taken in individually or one after the other.
The " concerts de sons de ville " are groups of twenty persons led by a guide, taking a blind stroll through the sound of life in the city.
The " cinéma radioguidé " takes the audience, equipped with headphone radios, on a tour of the city guided by instructions given on a special FM radio station.
" Accessoire d'extrémité ", holding long tubes that are used as exploratory sound tools, crosses through the city for an entire day. Upon arriving, it recounts the story of its travels in a magnificent soundscape, in the form of a concert /performance.
