Having invited several percussion, song, dance and deejay specialists, La Batook Company plays through the worlds of the samba, hip hop and song. Brazilian forms (enredo, pagode, samba-reggae and maracatu) are mixed in with most daring experimentation, the batucada being imagined as a huge drummer capable of adapting to extremely varied artistic contexts.
