This music, an amazing mixture of Palestrina and Mozart, expresses all the fervour of African slaves in baroque Brazil. The pieces which are interpreted result from the work of mixed-race, self-taught freed slaves and show an astonishing mix of classical European style and popular fervour.
Within the framework of the 5th National Month of American the Latino Baroque "O Amor Brasileiro". « Brésil baroque » is supported by the BNP Paribas foundation. Concert recorded by France music
