Xasax has been widening the repertoire of the saxophone quartet for fifteen years now, from renaissance polyphonies to extremely avant-gardiste creations via the Art of the Fugue, Scarlatti, or 20th-century classics. In this programme, from Scarlatti to Xenaxis, the saxophone takes on a new dimension.
