“The wings of Daedalus” is an experimental opera. Electrodes placed on the dancers’ bodies, 3D-pictures, real-time electro acoustic transformation of tones and voices, robot skeletons, video cameras with programmed movements…<br>Inspired by the Minoan myth of Daedalus, this opera announces, through the use of state-of-the-art technologies, events which occur when man abandons his physical dimension and becomes pure information or “energy”. A drama which announces the advent of the “Cyborg Era” through the fusion of biological and technical characteristics.
