Gotan (slang for tango) is where tango and down tempo meet, with the sensitivity of Argentine music and the efficiency of electronic music. “Project” brings together experienced Argentine musicians such as Eduardo Makaroff and young bloods from the French electronic scene (Philippe Cohen Solal and Christoph H. Müller). Violin, piano, double bass and bandoneon weave an authentic tango, close to that of Piazzola, which the electronic rhythms support naturally.
