“Morphing” is a series of parts solo for piano or saxophone, especially dedicated to the invited interpreters, to Richard Ducros and Ivo Janssen. Being inspired, for each one of them, popular musics energy of Africa in Brazil, Lauba carries out a progressive anamorphosis of the musical source towards an original writing and virtuoso which acts on all the parameters of the played sound: continuous variations and long crescendos rhythmic, harmonic and dynamic with the piano, saxophone in continuous breathing, slaps, differentiated attacks, saxophone and recorded synthetizer…
